Scranton, Pa. — In today’s digital age, the ability to effectively utilize technology is more important than ever. Goodwill Industries of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) is committed to helping bridge the digital divide by offering free NorthStar Digital Literacy Training.
Tech skills are critical for success in today’s workplace and employers expect basic computer skills for almost all jobs. The NorthStar Digital Literacy Training assesses an individual’s basic computer skills and provides training to build upon skills. The free set of online assessments are self-paced, and modules include Essential Computer Skills, Essential Software Skills, and Using Technology in Daily Life. Upon successful completion of the module, learners will earn certificates to share with potential employers.
