Scranton, PA. – Goodwill Industries of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) has received $2,000 in grant funding from the Scranton Area Community Foundation to help fund improvements to its Community Participation Supports (CPS) program space in Dickson City.
The funding will help Goodwill Industries of NEPA repair and refinish existing flooring to create a safe and accessible space that improves mobility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who participate in the CPS program. Goodwill’s CPS program is a licensed day service designed to enhance an individual’s independent skills both in the center and in the community.
Goodwill Industries of NEPA is a private non-profit community-based organization that has been serving the region for over 80 years and strives to strengthen lives, families, and communities one person at a time.
