Scranton, PA — Goodwill Industries of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) received $1,500 in grant funding from Peoples Security Bank and Trust to support improvements to its Community Participation Supports (CPS) program.
The funding will help Goodwill Industries of NEPA upgrade technology and purchase a SMART board to support digital literacy opportunities and provide a visual support strategy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who participate in CPS programming. The award will also support the repair and refinishing of existing flooring to create a safe and accessible space.
Goodwill’s CPS program is a licensed day service designed to enhance an individual’s independent skills both in the center and in the community.
