Scranton, PA — At Goodwill Industries of Northeastern Pennsylvania, we believe in second chances and have a variety of re-entry programs designed to help justice-involved individuals overcome barriers to employment and transition back into their communities.
Goodwill Industries of NEPA had the privilege attending USP Canaan’s inaugural Community Career Resources Fair last week and shared information about our services with more than 50 justice-impacted individuals.
Kristen Christopher, Director of Employment Services, attended the Career Fair and found the event to be impactful. “It was an honor to participate in the Community Career Resources Fair at USP Canaan and support individuals preparing for re-entry into the community,” Kristen said. “The level of engagement was truly inspiring, as participants asked thoughtful questions and showed a strong commitment to building a better future,” she continued. “The dedication of USP Canaan’s staff played a vital role in making this event a success, and Goodwill Industries of NEPA is proud to be part of such meaningful work!”
