Primary Duties:
Drive truck to pick up donated goods and operate vehicles within local, state, and federal guidelines.
Complete routes in efficient manner.
Communicate ETA with donor in route to pick-up.
Load and unload donated materials to allow max capacity of pick-ups but minimize damage to merchandise.
Complete paperwork, receipts, and online confirmation of all pick-ups.
Clean and secure vehicle of equipment.
Conduct daily inspections on vehicle conditions.
Report any needed truck maintenance, or incidents to Manager immediately.
Unload donations after pick-up and bring to warehouse location for sorting.
Other Duties as assigned.
Days and hours of work are based on the needs of the business. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Qualifications/Work Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or customer service experience
Valid State Driver’s License

Donation Center Attendant, Peckville
Basic Function: In this position, you will be accepting donated goods from the public. Once you accept the donation, you will provide the donor with a receipt for the donated goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining areas both inside and outside in a neat and orderly manner.
Essential Functions:
Assists in unloading acceptable donations in a timely and courteous manner.
Thanks the donor for donations and ensures that a receipt is offered to each donor.
Keeps running tally of donated goods as directed by the Retail Director.
Keeps supervisor informed of problems and suggestions related to the job.
Complies with all standards and safety regulations.
Sorts donations according to requirements.
Keeps donation area neat, clean, and orderly.
Ensures that equipment is in good working order.
Always exemplifies high-quality customer service.
Opens and/or closes donation center as directed by the Retail Director, never leaving Donation Center unattended during operating hours for any amount of time.
Job Specifications:
Able to work the hours the store is open.
Able to meet and communicate effectively with the public.
Able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally sit, kneel, squat, and climb.
Able to regularly stoop, bend, reach, turn and twist body and lift up to 35 lbs. Able to perform functions with or without special accommodation.
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma.
Must possess good written and oral skills.
Must have pleasant personality and be able to deal with the public.
Must be able to carry out the physical elements of the job (lifting, moving, and sorting approximately up to 40 lbs.).
