Scranton, Pa. – FNCB Bank, locally based since 1910, recently presented a $2,500 check to Goodwill Industries of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) to help fund improvements to its existing Community Participation Supports (CPS) program space in Dickson City.

The funding will help Goodwill Industries of NEPA replace existing flooring to create a safe and accessible space that improves mobility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who participate in the CPS program. Goodwill’s CPS program is a licensed day service designed to enhance an individual’s independent skills both in the center and in the community.

The donation is part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. As a true, local community bank, FNCB is making a difference through volunteerism, donations, and outreach programs.

Goodwill Industries of NEPA is a private non-profit community-based organization that has been serving the region for over 80 years and strives to strengthen lives, families, and communities one person at a time.
